The value of export from Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari province rose 50 percent in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22), as compare to the first half of the past year, a provincial official announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sajjad Rostami, the head of the province\u2019s Industry, Mining and Trade Department, said that 51.414 million tons of products worth over $41 million were exported from the province in the first half of the present year, showing also 21 percent growth in terms of weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official named tiles, ceramics, sanitary ware, refractory bricks, aluminum wire, construction rebar, galvanized steel sheet, household appliances, and almond kernels as the major exported products in the six-month period, and Iraq, Armenia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Turkey, Syria, Georgia, Italy, and Turkmenistan as the main export destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rostami also announced that 7.294 million tons of products worth over $5 million were exported from the province in the sixth month of the present year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As previously announced by Jahanbakhsh Moradi, the deputy head of the province\u2019s Industry, Mining and Trade Department for trade affairs, the value of export from Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari rose 177 percent in the past Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20), from its preceding year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said that over 130,000 tons of commodities worth $92.785 million were exported from the province in the previous year, indicating also 252 percent growth in terms of weight year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official named tiles and ceramics, home appliances, milk powder, urea and ammonia, almonds, aquatic feed, floor covering, fish feed, metal and plastic products, and gas cylinders as the main products exported from the province, and Iraq, Turkey, India, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, and Georgia as the major export destinations in the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The data released by Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) showed that the value of Iran\u2019s non-oil export rose 13.3 percent during the first half of the present year, as compared to the same period of time in the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based on an IRICA report, the country\u2019s six-month non-oil exports stood at 51.783 million tons valued at $24.251 billion, with a 12.5-percent decline in weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Liquefied propane, methanol, liquefied butane, liquefied natural gas and film grade polyethylene were the main exported products in the said time span, accounting for 25.6 percent of the total value of the exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Major export destinations of the Iranian non-oil goods were China with $7.842 billion of imports, Iraq with $3.382 billion, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with $3.112 billion, Turkey with $2.626 billion, and India with $904 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to IRICA data, the Islamic Republic has also imported 16.32 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $26.31 billion in the first six months of the present year, with a 13.15-percent growth in value and a 14.72-percent decrease in weight, year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first five items of goods imported into the country in the first half of this year include rice, wheat, maize, soybeans and mobile phones. The mentioned items accounted for 20.63 percent of the total import value during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The United Arab Emirates with $7.206 billion was the top exporter to Iran in the said period, followed by China with $6.846 billion, Turkey with $2.680 billion, India with $1.380 billion, and Russia with $876 million worth of exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reportedly, the value of Iran\u2019s non-oil trade rose 13.2 percent during the first six months of the present year, as compared to the same period of time in the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
