Iran\u2019s export of mining and mineral industries has exceeded 9.963 billion dollars from March 21, 2022, to January 20, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The export volume consists of 39.148 million tons of different products of mining industries, indicating three percent growth year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bulk of export items comprised steel and its sub-products 8.685 tons and 4.643 billion dollars in terms of weight and worth respectively, constituting 46.6 percent of total exports of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exports of copper and downstream products amounted to 1.275 billion dollars, followed by aluminum and its related products with 894 million dollars, and other minerals and mining industries with 880 million dollars, zinc with 520 million dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The largest growth of export was seen in export of coal and coke with 1,232 percent increase and worth 329 million dollars in the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first 10 months of Iranian calendar year, Iran exported iron ore pellets, cement-related products, various stones and related products as well as sponge iron worth 447 million dollars, 290 million dollars, 161 million dollars and 150 million dollars respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exports of the mining and mineral industries reached 864 million dollars from December 22, 2022, to January 20, 2023, showing a 30 percent decrease in comparison to the month before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Iranian companies active in mining and mineral industries imported 3,624 million tons of different products worth 3,978 billion dollars in the March-January period, most of the imported items were steel-related products worth 1.249 billion dollars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
