{"id":4927,"date":"2023-06-18T10:51:46","date_gmt":"2023-06-18T06:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iccci.ir\/en\/?p=4927"},"modified":"2023-06-18T10:51:47","modified_gmt":"2023-06-18T06:21:47","slug":"foreign-investment-in-iran-up-by-83-in-20-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iccci.ir\/en\/foreign-investment-in-iran-up-by-83-in-20-months\/","title":{"rendered":"Foreign investment in Iran up by 83% in 20 months"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>&nbsp;Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Iran has grown by 83% to reach $6.51 billion since President Ebrahim Raisi took office in August 2021 until late April this year compared to the same previous period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to figures published on Saturday by the Organization for Investment &amp; Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, a total of 401 foreign investment projects with a value of&nbsp;$10.765 billion had been approved by the organization&nbsp;since President Raisi took office in August 2021.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it said some 45 projects had been dismissed due to the failure of foreign investors to make an initial investment required by Iranian law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The figures, cited in a report by the IRNA, said that some 356 foreign investment projects with a total value of $6.051 have been approved under Raisi administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investors from Russia, UAE, Afghanistan, Turkiye, Iraq and China have accounted for a bulk of FDI recorded in Iran over the two period between August 2021 and April this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Iran has grown by 83% to reach $6.51 billion since President Ebrahim Raisi took office in August 2021 until late April this year compared to the same previous period.
