{"id":5849,"date":"2024-04-24T16:12:45","date_gmt":"2024-04-24T11:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iccci.ir\/en\/?p=5849"},"modified":"2024-04-24T16:12:46","modified_gmt":"2024-04-24T11:42:46","slug":"iranian-deputy-fm-iran-working-on-de-dollarization-trade-within-brics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iccci.ir\/en\/iranian-deputy-fm-iran-working-on-de-dollarization-trade-within-brics\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian deputy FM: Iran working on de-dollarization trade within BRICS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani indicated that Iran, like other BRICS members, will work on the de-dollarization of trade and economic and financial transactions within the group of major emerging economies, noting that some efforts in this issue are already underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tehran (ISNA) &#8211; &#8220;We have planned many missions and joint work with other BRICS members within the framework of this organization,&#8221; Bagheri Kani told Sputnik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Iranian diplomat highlighted that &#8220;one of the most important tasks is the de-dollarization of trade and economic transactions and financial cooperation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Activities in this field of work of BRICS have already started, we hope to strengthen and expand these activities in order to achieve this goal as soon as possible.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BRICS, established in 2009, is a group consisting of the world&#8217;s largest developing economies, which currently includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August, the 15th top-level BRICS summit in Johannesburg extended invitations to Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia to join the bloc.
