{"id":6034,"date":"2024-07-21T16:38:48","date_gmt":"2024-07-21T12:08:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iccci.ir\/en\/?p=6034"},"modified":"2024-07-21T16:38:48","modified_gmt":"2024-07-21T12:08:48","slug":"china-iran-iran-china-container-trains-relaunched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iccci.ir\/en\/china-iran-iran-china-container-trains-relaunched\/","title":{"rendered":"China-Iran, Iran-China container trains relaunched"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Tehran, IRNA \u2014 China-Iran and Iran-China container trains have been relaunched in the Aprin Dry Port, located in Islamshahr, southern Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways (RAI) Mi\u2019ad Salehi made the remarks on Sunday in the relaunching ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He described Iran as a fast and safe way to transport consignments from China to the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the inauguration ceremony, the first phase of the China-Iran-Europe railway corridor was put into operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The container trains will travel via friendly and neighboring countries of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, bound for China, said Salehi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chinese container train headed to Iran&nbsp;around 10 days ago, he said, adding that the trains will be exchanged at the Incheh Boroun Border Terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A number of officials from China,&nbsp;Turkmenistan, and&nbsp;Kazakhstan attended the&nbsp;inauguration ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also referred to as an inland port, a dry port is\u00a0an inland intermodal terminal directly connected by road or rail to a seaport, operating as a center for the transshipment of sea cargo to inland destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SOURCE: IRNA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tehran, IRNA \u2014 China-Iran and Iran-China container trains have been relaunched in the Aprin Dry Port, located in Islamshahr, southern Tehran.
