Agriculture minister said that in the wake of neighboring countries’ capacities and potentials, in collaboration with the Foreign Ministry’s economic diplomacy apparatus “we can boost agricultural products exports to regional countries and become regional hub in this respect”.
Javad Sadatinezhad who was speaking for the Agricultural Jihad Ministry Deputies Council in the presence of Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Mahdi Safari, said that the deputies of this ministry must prepare the country’s import and export packages, as well as the list of the Iranian agricultural sector’s technological needs, so that we can deliver them to the Foreign Ministry’s economic deputy to consult with Iranian embassies respectively.
The Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Mahdi Safari, too, said that the Foreign Ministry will do all its best to boost the country’s agricultural cooperation with neighboring countries, and asked the deputy agriculture ministers to declare Iran’s agricultural potentials and import demands to the Foreign Ministry.
He said that presenting methods for decreasing transfer of hard currency abroad through transferring the required agricultural technologies to Iran in cooperation between the Agriculture Ministry and the Foreign Ministry is a dire need, emphasizing that the two ministries’ deputies need to keep in constant touch.
