The Statistical Center of Iran in a report has reviewed changes in prices of goods exported from and imported to the country in the last fiscal year (ended March).
According to SCI, the Export Price Index, an indicator measuring the overall change in prices for goods and services sold abroad, (using the year ending March 2017 as the base year), stood at 2,609.8 in 2021-22 in rial terms, up a staggering 142.8% on the previous year.
The report said the year saw EPI at 142.5 in dollar terms, registering an 11.6% increase year-on-year.
