The 4th China International Import Expo kicked off in Shanghai, attended by 127 countries including Iran.
3,000 businesspeople from 127 states are showcasing their products in the 4th edition of China International Import Expo, while 15 countries have participated in the event for the first time, China’s CGTN TV reported on Tuesday.
The exhibition spans an area of 366,000 square meters which is 6,000 square meters larger than the last year’s edition.
Representative of the International Center for Iranian and Chinese Handicrafts told CGTN that Iran’s filigree products were sold out as soon as they were put on display.
Iran’s saffron sale was also astonishing, the official said, as a pack of saffron was sold every 10 seconds.
He also said that Iranian raisins and dates were favored by Chinese visitors.
The exhibition will be open for six days.
