Worth of Iran’s foreign trade exchange has been estimated as over 60 billion dollars during the first seven months of the Iranian calendar year which shows ten percent increase when it is compared with the preceding year.
Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, Ali Reza Moqaddasi, made the remarks during his visit to customs office of Khorramshahr in southwest country on Tuesday.
Moqaddasi said the weight of the commodities exchanged during the seven months, started on March 21, has been more than 81 million tons.
Also, the worth of non-oil products exported from the country during the mentioned period has been announced 28.4 billion dollars, the official added noting that the figure indicates 5.6 percent increase compared with that of in the previous year.
Moqaddasi referred to propane, methanol, liquid butane, polyethylene, liquefied natural gas and bitumen as the main Iranian products exported to China, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Turkiye and India.
Due to its strategic position and its closeness to Iraqi and Kuwaiti markets, the customs office of Khorramshahr plays an important role in exports.
