Over 300 cooperative firms participate in int’l exhibitions

The head of Iran’s Ministry of Cooperatives for Cooperatives Affairs said 311 cooperative companies and unions participated in the international exhibitions held across the country from March 21 to December 22, 2023.

Speaking during his visit to the First International Exhibition of Iran Chemical (Chemical Industries and Materials) exhibition, Hamed Veys Karami said the Ministry of Cooperatives intends to pave the way for companies to participate in the international exhibitions in line with promoting their business activities.

Attending such expos would enable cooperative companies to conclude contracts for the export of their goods to other countries, he added. 

He pointed to the capacities and key role of the Iran Chamber of Cooperatives in the materialization of the development goals of the cooperatives sector and added that facilitating the pertinent activities and removing the existing barriers are the main tasks of the government in supporting the cooperative companies, Mehr news agency reported.

Veys Karami emphasized the synergy of the responsible officials and organizations for the active participation of cooperative companies in international exhibitions.
