The 8th edition of the Iran Pharma International Exhibition has kicked off with the presence of Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einollahi.
According to IRNA’s correspondent, 709 pharmaceutical companies, including 427 domestic and 282 foreign companies from 33 countries, are present at the exhibition that opened in Tehran on Wednesday.
The exhibition, held at Imam Khomeini Mosalla, will also feature 46 side events with the participation of more than 105 experts and professors.
The head of the Syndicate of Owners of Human Drug Industries told IRNA that the Iran Pharma exhibition has been organized with a focus on hope for the future, infrastructure development, and reaching a positive trade balance.
“The [presence of] domestic and foreign raw material manufacturing companies and the holding of specialized workshops and panels in this edition of the Iran Pharma exhibition are a good opportunity for education and learning,” Mohammad Abdeh said.
He added that the visitors will be able to see the new achievements in the field of pharmaceutical industry infrastructure, raw materials and pharmaceutical machinery, and new technologies.
