Head of Iran-China Friendship Association Alaeddin Boroujerdi has underlined that the future trip by President Ebrahim Raisi to China will help speed up the implementation of the Iran-China 25-year Cooperation Program.

The authorities of the Islamic Republic expect China, a friendly and capable country, to take important steps in order to enhance ties.

Boroujerdi said that the Iran-China Friendship Association is not satisfied with the current speed of pursuing the cooperation program, urging the two countries’ officials to accelerate the process.

The official urged the Chinese officials to invest in the development projects in Iran to improve the tourism industry in the Islamic nation.

As to the lifting of coronavirus-related lockdowns in China, Boroujerdi expressed hope that the new situation would lead to more cooperation and travel between the two countries.

The Iran-China Friendship Association collaborated with the Chinese embassy in Tehran to prepare a software to give thorough information about the Iranian tourist attractions in the Chinese language, he added.

The implementation of the Iran-China 25-year Cooperation Program can pave the way for carrying out joint ventures in different arenas such as transit, manufacturing, energy, economic, trade, and political fields, he said.
